Kind and busy Mexican family of 5, are in need of an English speaking nanny to teach English to the children along with typical nanny duties. Ideally the nanny is of German, Swiss or Austrian nationality, however nanny must speak fluent English. Spanish is not necessary as parents speak fluent English.
There are 3 children, 6 year old and 2.5 year old boys and 4.5 year old girl. Family lives in a house with a garden. The family mainly needs help with their little one, 2.5 year old while mom works in the AM. The family currently has another nanny who will be looking after the older children during the day.
The nanny will be expected to strictly adhere to COVID-19 prevention guidelines below:
Stay home as much as you can with the exception of going to and from work and grocery store.
Solely work for this family and no-one else with the exception of online work.
Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub.
Keep a distance of 6 feet at all times from others when outside of your home or your workplace.
Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze.
Don’t touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean.
Preferably you live alone or with those using the same preventative guidelines above.
Set a good example in terms of keeping calm, solving conflicts and being polite.
Speak to children in English at all times.
Be firm but kind and calm at all times. The children do very well with discipline that is firm and kind.
Great attitude, happy, positive outlook, smiley, pleasure to be around.
Teach them not to fight with brothers and sisters, to share, to help each other.
During COVID-19, nanny will be taking care of 2.5 years old boy in the mornings while mom works. Another WCN-Nanny will be taking care of the older children.
Setting a good example of being tidy and ensuring children pick up after themselves.
Light Cleaning (related to the child) pick up toys, fold kids clothes, help children clean up after arts and crafts activities etc
• Have First Aid and CPR
• Have recent experience with toddler aged children
• Commit to a minimum of 12 months
• Assist with light cleaning (related to the child)
A PLUS if nanny has experience with Pre-School/ Kindergarten Ages!
Duration: 12 months
Start Date: ASAP
During COVID-19 crisis (schools are closed), nanny will be picked up and dropped off at home. Monday - Friday 8.00am to 2.30pm. Approximately 20 hours per week or 80 hours per month.
Once quarantine period is over, nanny will need to arrange her own transportation to work and will work the following hours:
Mondays: 2.00pm -8.00pm. (Meet at Escuela Lomas Altas (Lomas) and drop off in Las Lomas)
Friday: *(one Friday per month* 9.30am- 5.30pm. (Or one Friday per month, 9.30am -2.30pm, and a second Friday in the month, 2.00pm to 5.00pm.
Wednesdays: 4.00pm- 8.00pm. AND one Wednesday per month, 2.00pm to 8.00pm.
Approximately 50 hours per month or 12.5 hours per week.
Location: Lomas de Reforma
HOURLY RATE: $200 pesos per hour (paid every two weeks via direct deposit)
