Administrative Assistant - Assist the director and executive director in day-to-day tasks in the office, answering questions by phone and via email, and correspond with filmmakers. Volunteers will learn about the administrative tasks needed to run a film festival from the basics to the executive level and the many aspects of the filmmaking process itself.
Social Media Manager - Manage social media accounts, regulate posts on festival-specific websites, create original content and copy for posts, and coordinate cross-promotional posts with partners.
Graphic Designer - Create original designs, work with the director and executive on established ideas and designs for website, other digital media, and print. Develop concepts, logos, posters, and promotions for the LBASFF.
Artist/Animator - Create original content and promotional content for the LBASFF and also collaborate with the director and executive on established ideas and designs for websites and other digital media and print; develop concepts, logos, posters, and promotions for the LBASFF.
Video Editor - Edit footage gathered for the week-to-week VLOG, happenings, events, and interviews as well as showcasing and highlighting announcements for the build-up of LBASFF: interviews, panels, and other coverage for the Youtube, ConTV channel and other platforms during the LBASFF
Marketing Assistant - Assist in all marketing and promotional aspects before LBASFF 2020. Volunteers will be included in correspondence between partners and sponsors.
During LBASFF. Boom! Action! Climax!
Host - Making a good impression of LBASFF by welcoming attendees and filmmakers, answering questions about the events taking place at the venue, and directing as well as escorting guests to the theater. Seating and accommodating, and providing any other services guests might need.
Box Office / Theater Operations - Sales and ticketing, processing credit cards, and end-of-shift reporting. Insure you have a knowledge of the venues and films so that you might answer questions from the audience. Box office Volunteers will be trained on our ticketing software.
Theater Assistant / Usher - Assist in LBASFF theaters, collect tickets, usher as needed, and answer questions guests may have about the screening time or location. Theater assistants will also welcome guests at the beginning of the screening or host Q&A's after the screening.
Event Production - Assist with the set-up, execution, and breakdown of events, receptions, and more.
Projectionist - Projecting the film on screen, working closely with the theater assistant to ensure screenings run on schedule as well as checking equipment before screenings.
Filmmaker and Patron Hospitality - Provide concierge services for filmmakers and their guests as well as work closely with VIP Pass Holders to ensure they have an incredible festival experience!
